How to create a Land registration plan

Method 1 - Using Land registry data as a guide

Firstly create a new plan by using the New, Use template.

Choose the Land registration template, please note you will see a list of templates based on your sector. You can see other templates by looking at other sector templates.

Select your import method Pick from Land Registry

Select the surrounding titles then click on next.

Name your plan and click on finish

Click on Draw then Area

Using the surrounding titles as a guide single click to start drawing and double click to finish and select Finish.

The next step is to remove the surrounding Land Registry parcels that were used as a guide. You can multi select by holding down the shift key and then click on delete.

You will now be left with the ownership parcel to register which you can annotate if needed. 


Method 2 - Using the Interactive Ordnance Survey MasterMap®

Firstly create a new plan by using the New, Use template.

Choose the Land registration template, please note you will see a list of templates based on your sector. You can see other templates by looking at other sector templates.

Without selecting an import method Click on Skip, just draw in the bottom right of the screen.

Name your plan and click on finish

You will now need to be on an Ordnance survey base map and zoom in to a Premium zoom level. Click on Off next to Interactive map and this will switch to on.

Go to Draw, Area and start to draw against the Ordnance Survey features and this will automatically snap to the features. Single click to start drawing and double click to finish.
