In Land App Mobile you can measure distances and areas that track (“snap to”) your GPS location for more accurate mapping onthe-ground.

To do this, click the white arrow button in the bottom right of the map before you start to measure your distance or area.

The arrow button will be highlighted yellow if it is enabled.

You can then move in the direction you wish to measure and the basemap will automatically adjust so that the next point to add is positioned in the centre of your map.

You can then click Add Point as needed.

You can turn off the snap-to-GPS tool at any time by clicking the arrow button again.
