How to view and edit plans in Land App Mobile

Open your map in Land App Mobile and pull up the drawer at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the entry that shows how many plans are on device. On the following screen you will see all of the plans that are available.

You can search and filter the available plans by template to narrow the list.

To download a plan to the device click on the download icon.

When downloaded the entry will no longer show the download icon and will show a tick denoting it's on device.

To open the plan click on the entry and the plan will open.

If you would like to change/add an assigned use select the feature on screen.

The drawer at the bottom will show any current use and details about that feature.

When you pull up this drawer you will see that you have an option to edit the assigned use.

By clicking on the pencil icon you will see a list or the available option based on the template.

You can expand the categories to select the desired option.

You can edit the feature attributes such as name, description etc.

You can use the edit option of splitting a feature by selecting the scissor/split icon.

When in the split mode drag the cursor to your first split point.

You will need to add points where you would like to split.

Add your first point and the continue to drag the cursor to any subsequent point locations. Once completed select Done.

The feature will now be split and you can edit and further split or delete if needed.

To delete a feature select the Bin/Delete icon.

To draw additional feature click on the Draw button.

You can then select what type of feature you would like to draw between an Area, Line or Point.

To add a point you will see the point location on screen which, by dragging the screen, you can position and then select Add point.

When the point has been added you can either Assign feature type. Re-draw or delete

To assign a use click on Assign feature typeand expand a category.

Then select a feature.

At this point you can either re-draw, delete or change the feature type.

You can also add more detail by swiping up on the bottom bar where you can add a name and description.

To add more features click on Draw again.

To draw additional features click on Draw again.

To draw a line select Line.

Drag the map to position the cursor at the first point of your line and select Add point.

Drag the map again to position your next point and select Add point again.

Continue to add points until you have completed your line then select Done in the top right of the screen

After this you can Assign a feature type, Re-draw or Split.

To assign a use click on Assign feature type and expand a category, then select a feature.

You can also add more detail by swiping up on the bottom bar where you can add a name and description.

To add more features click on Draw again.

To draw additional features click on Draw again.

To draw an area select Area.

Drag the map to position the cursor at the first point of your area and select Add point.

Drag the map into position again and select Add point. Continue until all points for your area have been added and then select Done in the top right of the screen

From here you can Assign a feature type, Split or Delete.

To assign a use click on Assign feature type and expand a category, then select a feature.

You can change the assigned use, add more detail about the feature by swiping up on the bottom bar, split or delete.

To add more features click on Draw again.

Open your map in Land App Mobile and pull up the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the entry that shows how many plans on device. On the following screen you will see all of the plans that are either available to download or on device.

Click on the three vertical dots on the plan you would like to remove and click on remove from device.

You can re-download at any time, provided you have an internet connection.

A conflict may occur when changes made in the Land App Mobile version have not yet synchronised, and additional changes are then made in the web app before synchronisation takes place. A conflict arises when the same feature or features have been modified differently across platforms—whether in assigned use, geometry, or attributes.

To alert you to a conflict, a Change Conflict folder will be created in the web app. This folder will contain plans that include only the features affected by the conflict. You can use this information to review discrepancies and make any necessary adjustments to your original plan.

Can I create a non survey template plan in Land App Mobile?

No, all non-survey plan templates can only be created in the web version of Land App and then downloaded in Land App Mobile.
