This function is to help you easily record and evidence the current status of land and assets. You can use this function for a variety of tasks from habitat assessments to tree surveys and compliance reporting.
You can either take photos in the map or open a plan and take photos. Opening a plan will mean that your photos are automatically linked to that plan.
How to take photos in the map
Firstly open the map that you wish to take photos for, click the yellow + button in the bottom right corner of your map and then click Take Photo.
This will open your mobile device’s camera and you need to allow the app access.
Click the circle button in the bottom middle of your camera screen to take a photo.
You can add a description or notes to your photo by typing in the text bar at the bottom of your screen.
Click the arrow button in the bottom right of your screen to save the photo and any accompanying description.
Each photo you take will be saved to the particular map you are working on.
How to take photos in a plan
Firstly open the map that you wish to take photos for and then the plan. This guidance shows how to download plans to Land App mobile.
Once in the plan click on the Photo icon.
This will open your mobile device’s camera and you need to allow the app access.

Click the arrow button in the bottom right of your screen to save the photo and any accompanying description.
Each photo you take will be linked to the particular plan you are working on.
How to delete photos
To delete photos, firstly drag the toolbar underneath your map upwards to display additional information about that particular map.
Click the Photos icon within the Details section, which will display all photos taken on that particular map in a gallery view.
Long Press on a photo to select and then click on the bin icon to delete.
