As part of the Nature, Risk and Resilience Reporting, it is expected that all farms run an Annual Refresh of their maps. This allows tracking of change over time.

Keeping your Baseline up to date

To update your baseline, follow these steps:

  1. Duplicate your existing Baseline plan (guidance)

  2. Ensure it is named clearly, with the date contained (guidance)

  3. Make the necessary changes to your baseline:

    1. This may include updating your field-level habitats (guidance)

    2. Adding new margins or plots (guidance)

    3. For Accredited Professionals, update the verification status of the new plan to reflect the changes (guidance) and remove the verification status of the old plan (as this is now an out-of-date status).

  4. Once completed, update your Land Declaration Form for the submission in the Nature Reporting menu:

    1. Go to the “Farm Info” tab:

    2. Hit the “edit” button next to the plans

    3. Deselect the old baseline and change it to the new plan.

    4. This will then trigger a refresh of your Farm Metrics, updating your scores to reflect the new plan.

Keeping your Land Management Plans up to date

For the Land Management Plan, it is best practice to just keep your current plan up to date with your current plan thinking. Therefore, it is not necessary to create a new LMP per year.

For changing the status of your (from in-design, to seeking funding, underway or complete), follow this guidance.
