What version of Natural England's Biodiversity Net Gain Metric does it use?

The current version is the Statutory Metric

Why is my data not showing in my Autopopulator or Estimator?

There are a couple of reasons that data may not be showing in your results.

  1. Are you using a Baseline Habitat Assessment Template for the Baseline, and the "Land Management Plan" Template for the Future Scenario? You need to at least have a Baseline for units to generate.

  2. Are both of these layers "published"? Only published layers get pulled to the dashboard. For guidance, see here.

  3. Are all the UKHab codes on your two plans (Baseline Habitat Assessment + Land Management Plan) BNG-eligible codes? See the full list of eligible codes here.

    1. A common error is leaving the UKHab codes a "g - grassland" or "w1 - broadleaf woodland". These need to be further allocated, such as "g4 - modified grassland", "g3c - other neutral grassland" or "w1h - Other woodland; mixed"

    2. To do this on-bulk, you can "Select-all" and "Change feature type" following this guidance.

APPENDIX - A full list of eligible codes can be found here:

A list of UKHab Codes that are required for a BNG Assessment. Both the Baseline Habitat Assessment and the Land Management Plan will need these codes. Different codes will not generate units.
